SN 8400

Downlight for surface mounting on ceilings

INOTEC SN 8400 downlights are made of high-quality powder-coated die-cast aluminium. A highly efficient, latest-generation power LED combined with excellent thermal management ensures a lamp luminous flux of more than 160lm/W. The multi-chip LED used also offers greater safety. With INOTEC FUSION CPS and CLS emergency lighting devices, even the failure of a single chip can be detected.

Versatile technology in a durable design

The SN 8400 luminaire series combines modern lighting technology with a robust, durable aluminium housing. Available in either a round or square design, the series blends harmoniously into a wide variety of architectural environments. With a wide range of lighting technologies for escape routes and areas, it offers maximum flexibility for a wide variety of applications. In addition, the SN 8400 allows for individual colour designs, as special colours can be realised on request.

Flexible use thanks to side cable entry

Despite its compact housing design, the SN 8400 offers exceptionally flexible installation. Particularly noteworthy is the side cable entry, which can be implemented without additional accessories. The side openings remain invisible during normal surface mounting, but can be quickly and easily exposed if necessary. This allows the luminaire to be optimally adapted to existing installation situations – ideal for renovations with visible cable routing. This adaptability enables a clean, professional installation and contributes to the luminaire's technical and visual appeal.

Optimal lighting for safety-related areas

By rotating the asymmetrical SN 8400-12 AHB luminaire by 90°, the light distribution can be precisely adjusted to the requirements of safety-related areas. In addition to escape routes, first aid stations and firefighting and alarm systems can also be reliably illuminated in accordance with EN 1838. The standard specifies a minimum vertical illuminance of 5 lx for these areas in order to ensure clear visibility in an emergency. The flexible alignment of the luminaire helps to reliably meet these requirements and enable optimum orientation.
